Shipping At modBaby.ca we are constantly searching for ways to make shipping easy and cost effective for our customers. We can ship to virtually any address in the world. Delivery Time Once we have processed your order - we will provide you with both a date the item(s) were shipped and an estimated date of arrival. You will be able to see these dates within the Previous Orders summary under Your Account. Note: the estimated date of arrival is based on our shippers standard delivery times. We cannot account for delays that may be due to customs, weather, or other possible shipping related delays. Calculating Cost Shipping costs for orders from modBaby.ca depend upon the shipping method you choose and other factors such as destination, weight, dimensions and if the item requires special handling. We make the best effort to group items into as few shipments as possible, in order that you'll be charged for the lowest shipping and handling fee. However, if you choose to ship items separately, you will be charged for each shipment seperately. Shipping Rates modBaby.ca can ship to virtually any address in the world. Local Calgary Customers Only: modBaby.ca will drop the item off at your doorstep for a flat rate of $10 regardless of the size of the order. Canada and the United States: Our preference is to use Canada Post as the costs and delivery times provide the best value for our customers. International Destinations: We will contact you to discuss shipping rates and delivery times for your country. How We Ship We currently only use Canada Post for shipping. When shipping - we try to group items into as few shipments as possible thus reducing costs for our customers. The number of shipments we make for your order is dependent upon:
modBaby.ca understands that you may need certain items much faster than others. For this reason we offer faster shipping methods via Canada Post. These rates & times differ from our standard and come with higher shipping and handling fees. Of course, we'll still attempt to save you money by consolidating items where it makes sense to do so. If you wish to use this service - please let us know and we will quote the shipping accordingly before sending your item out. Weather and Service Delays modBaby.ca cannot control weather or the service offered by our shipping providers. What we can control is that we will make every effort to ensure your shipment is not delayed through our fault. Shipping Restrictions While we are able to ship to virtually any location in the world, certain areas carry a premium for shipping. As such for these areas we are unable to offer our standard flat-rate shipping methods. We will still ship to these areas, however we will contact you once your order has been made to let you know of the costs. Additionally, warranty issues and manufacturer restrictions prevent us from shipping certain products to all geographical locations. You'll be notified while placing your order if we're unable to ship specific items to the address you've selected. International Shipping modBaby.ca can and will ship to any location in the world outside Canada and the United States. However due to the varying costs associated with international shipments - it can be very difficult to provide an accurate flat rate. As such if you require an item to be shipped outside Canada or the United States - we will contact you to provide you with cost details and delivery times for your shipment. Duties, Taxes and Levies Order's shipped outside Canada may be subject to Duties, Taxes, Fees and Levies within the destination country. modBaby.ca is unable to provide any information on such fees and furthermore these Duties, Taxes, Fees and Levies are the responsibility of the customer ordering the item. modBaby.ca will not be held liable for any such fees associated with importation of such items. However modBaby.ca will do what it can to help and aid in the importation process. Availability modBaby.ca strives to ensure that it carries stock of your selected item. However at times some items may not be available due to reasons outside our control. As such if an item is unavailable at the time of your order - we will contact you as quickly as possible to let you know of the delay and when the expected delivery time will occur. Delivery Estimates Our estimated shipping dates are based on several factors, including your destination address, how quickly we can obtain and assemble items for shipment, and whether we minimize the number of shipments or ship items as they become available. The estimated shipping date is displayed on your Previous Order Summary under My Account. Premium Shipping Areas In some instances - some rural communities are considered premium shipping zones by our shipper Canada Post. These zones usually result in extra charges due its location. If you are in such a zone and we find the shipping to be to high - we may use an alternative shipper to ship your order to you to cut costs. We do this to save you money. |
